Silver Lake is about 15 miles south and is famous for its amazing Sand Dunes! If
you've never been to Michigan sand dunes, these are a must see...you can go 4-wheeling or
climb the dunes on foot. You may want to try parasailing or renting all kinds of things
including: small power boats, jet skis, bikes, etc. There are a lot of fun things to keep
you busy all day at Silver
Lake.
If slot machines and blackjack are your fancy, the Little River Casino is only an hour north in
Manistee. If you're on your way north, Ludington is only 12 miles from the cottage
and has a Walmart, larger grocery stores, fast food, movies, bowling alley, etc.
Lake Michigan's shore is a wonderful place to relax and play some Golf. With 5
